“I think I can speak on behalf of the many people who attended Saturday night’s Gypsy Ball when I say that it was a fantastic night, full of colour, music, dancing, fun and fabulous costumes. The spirit of the Hills community is most definitely alive and well.
HUGE thanks go out to the many people who put 100s of hours of their time into making the night a success. As you all can imagine, it took many helping hands to bring all aspects of the night together.
Thanks to the wonderful band ‘Reflejos Musique’ for keeping us entertained, thanks to our belly dancers, our photographers for capturing the night in images, bar staff, security staff, sound people, the ladies who put together a fantastic menu of food for all to enjoy, to the decorating team who transformed the Sherbrooke/Upwey Community Centre into a colourful and cosy gypsy den, to the many local businesses and individuals who donated raffle items, to our raffle ladies for collecting items and selling tickets, to our MC, to our door staff who greeted all that arrived, to our serving staff, to our fabulous palm reader who wowed people with her accuracy, to the local businesses who sold ball tickets in store, to the many people who were on pick up and delivery duty to ensure everyone had everything they needed on the night, to the clean up crew who spent yesterday morning clearing the hall, to those who loaned and donated decorative items for use and to the team of organisers behind the scenes who have spent months pulling this all together.
On behalf of all who attended and enjoyed a fantastic Hills evening a huge thank you to you all ”
