To coincide with the ‘Global Day of Action against McDonalds’, our community friendly corporation had some new signage erected to their Melbourne and Sydney headquarters earlier this morning.
The banner drop was timed to mark the close of the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) on 6/6/2013 the Global Day of Action. The NYSE is where the corporation is listed.

The day of action was aimed at highlighting the many ethically challenged practices that McDonald’s are happy to continue, these include the exploitation of low paid workers in the USA and the dismissal of democracy here in Australia in regard to the abuse planning laws to completely ignore elected councils in order to have their stores built.
