The Age Newspaper described him as “one of Melbourne’s Living Treasures” and from early in our campaign Rod has been a great supporter. This mutual respect resulted in the now famous Tecoma Flash-mobbers having the privilege to open Rod’s 45th Anniversary Stage Spectacular back in November.
Rod will be joining our community meeting this coming Sunday along with a host of other guests that include political figures, health professionals and of course YOU our passionate and dedicated community.
Our fight gains momentum everyday and is being replicated by communities not only here in Australia but all around the world. The “Tecoma way” is seen as the gold standard in how communities who have lost their voice can take back the power.
Join us from 2:00pm this Sunday at the Tecoma Primary School. It will be a chance not only to reflect on the wins we have had thus far but also to plan and coordinate the way forward. Their will be lots of actions you can become involved in which will continue to build pressure on McDonald’s to reconsider what Fairfax Media described as “Australia’s Biggest Corporate PR Disaster”
