On February 18th
thousands marched in opposition to the proposed Victorian Coalition Government laws that will see peaceful grassroots protests such as the Tecoma campaign effectively silenced. A delegation from Tecoma came into town for the rally and was one of the biggest community groups represented. These laws are yet to pass so if you live in the Dandenongs drop a message on Gembrook Coalition MP Brad Battin’s Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/BradBattin?fref=ts) or FTG MP Nick Wakeling (https://www.facebook.com/nick.wakeling.18?fref=ts). These are the two government MP’s who are closest to Tecoma and plan to support laws that will silence our voice against greedy corporations such as McDonald’s

Thanks to all who came down “off the mountain” in an attempt to stop another nail in democracy’s coffin.
