BBQ THIS SUNDAY – COMMUNITY MEETING

Trades Hall BBQ

We are pleased to announce that the Victorian Union movement’s support of the Tecoma community continues with a BBQ being provided for those attending Sunday’s community meeting at Tecoma Primary School.

With the BBQ and cooking volunteers being provided by the National Union of Workers and sausages & bread by local traders what a way to spend a great afternoon out. We will also be visited by senior members of the VHTC who are here to listen to our community and continue the support.

The BBQ kicks off at 2:00pm. Given that the weather will be 26c you can plan now for a great day out. You can attend the Knox Festival in the Gully in the morning and join us in the afternoon, or for a more vigorous activity how about joining the No Maccas in Tecoma Clean-up Australia Team who will gather at the Tecoma railway station at 9:30am

All in all a great day in which our community can come together and focus our energy on stopping McDonald’s invasion of the Dandenong Ranges.
