Last night Melbourne time (Thursday Chicago time) the good people of Tecoma was again demonstrated that they are once again “the little town who roared” Thanks to the generosity of 1680 people who donated over $40,000 to make this happen once again the world is watching. Since the publication of this advertisement we have already been contacted by Corporate Accountability International (http://www.stopcorporateabuse.org/) who are following our campaign with interest and The Sum of Us (http://sumofus.org/) who plan to email their database to inform them of our fight. Next week we will have a delegation on the ground in Chicago and we hope to deliver the Change.org petition directly to McDonald’s CEO Don Thompson. We also have a few more Chicago based activities planned and will keep our benefactors, friends and supporters updated via NO McDonalds in The Dandenong Ranges.
